When you have a newborn, taking family pictures for your holiday cards can be difficult, so why not request an in home holiday session from your photographer.  The best part about this is that you get to decorate ​the area you want to do your session in the way you want it all to look!  I had the opportunity of photographing this family for their maternity session and they turned out beautiful, so I was so pleased when they contacted me to do their family holiday session with their newborn :)

Such a wonderful and sweet family, and so very photogenic.  A simple and quick holiday session in the beautiful area of Bonelli Park in San Dimas.

I absolutely love this family, they are fun, loving, and so much to photograph.  This is the second year that I have had the opportunity of photographing this lovely family, and I hope to photograph and capture more of their wonderful memories.  This session was done in the late afternoon about 1.5 hours before sunset, which is the perfect time to photograph at this lovely location.

This family is always a pleasure, and over the past 3 years I have gotten to see them grow.  This year, however; was extra special.  The two girls brother and mother joined their session, and instead of individual family sessions, they did their session all together.  How incredibly special!

I have gotten  to photograph this beautiful family of 4 over the past three holiday seasons, and they have grown so much, not only as a family, but as successful entrepreneurs.  I will miss this family as they move to another state, but I wish them the very best.  I feel so very blessed to have gotten the opportunity to know them over the past few years :)

It was a pleasure to photograph this family again for their holiday session.  I just love seeing families that I have had the opportunity in the past to photograph.  This family choose to do their session at the same location as last year due to it's beautiful lighting and scenery.  Their son is such a cuttie, and a ham.  It was so much fun capturing these first few pictures of this little guy.

Such a fun memory to capture for this very sweet couple that I first met back in June at another event.  Family and friends gathered at this beautiful restaurant patio for a wonderful meal, and to find out the gender of the baby.  This kind of event is becoming more and more popular, and it was so much fun being able to capture the expression on their faces of what the gender of their baby is.  I wish Brian and Michelle so much happiness and a beautiful future, as they start their new journey in their relationship!

 

I have gotten to know this couple and some of their family and friends since I first met them in June for Dina and Her friend's Jen Black & White Birthday Party.  They are so very sweet and a fun couple.  

For Dina's baby shower, it was an up, up, and away hot air balloon theme, with several activities, along with a beautiful lunch, and an open photo booth, which I set up.  I set up props on a table, and put up a light blue back drop.  Everyone had so much fun dressing up and having fun in their photo booth pictures.  

I wish Dina and Nater so much happiness as their journey is about to begin with their new baby boy!

 

I really love capturing the memories of this beautiful family, I get to see two families, plus two sets of grandparents, and another family member all at once during the holidays to capture their pictures for the holiday season.  Another family that came to me and asked if they could do a jumping picture.  It was so much fun, and it took a handful of tries till we got the last image within this blog post, and I just absolutely love it!

Such a fun family that I had the opportunity to photograph, hope to capture many more memories in the future with this fun family.  They had such fun ideas, and were open to non-traditional images, along with traditional images.

 

Such a spontaneous wedding.  I was not at the civil wedding at the court house, it was just this lovely couple and their two kids.  These two have been together for many years and decided to make it official.  They met me at a park in Riverside, just to take a few Wedding pictures, so that they could capture this special day, then they were headed to meet up with friends and family on a camping trip and to announce their news.  How awesome is that?  Plus such a stress free honeymoom!

 

Miss Ashleigh holds a very special place in my heart, I have known her since my son was 10 months old, and my son is 5 now.  I have gotten to see her blossom into a very beautiful young lady, who is very active in sports, her family, her friends, her education, and her faith.  I was so very honored to be able to capture this very special event for her, as she turned into an official adult.

Ashleigh, I wish you nothing but happiness and success.  Happy 18th Birthday!!! 

 

I got to capture sweet Savanah's mommy for her maternity session a year ago, only a few days before she was born.  Then I got to capture their family holiday pictures , and now I have gotten the opportunity at capturing this sweet little girls 1st birthday cake smash.

Leslie is such a sweet, smart, and very active young lady in sports, her family, her friends, and her faith.  I have gotten to know and cherish every memory that I have gotten the opportunity of capturing of her and her family.​  A beautiful dress made by a great grandmother, a small intimate church ceremony with an unbelievable beautiful solo by Leslie, and an awesome catered party that was so beautifully decorated in the comfort of her own back yard.

I had such a wonderful session with this beautiful mama and her wonderful little family.  This family is so sweet and has so much love for each other, and they were so excited to celebrate their upcoming birth of their new baby boy.  I was so delighted to be able to capture this wonderful memory for them, and I look forward at capturing many more memories of this sweet family.

 

This was such a great day for a little mermaid birthday party for this special little girl named Lana.  I absolutely love this family, and I enjoy each and every event that I get to capture all these special memories for this family.  This family has such love and happiness for each other that they are always a joy to be around :)

Another great small intimate wedding between family and friends to join these two beautiful couples together.  I met this couple last fall and absolutely fell in love with their love for each other.  I hope to capture many more memories for this beautiful family.

It's time for a Superhero Birthday Party for a very special little guy that turned 5 years old.  I felt so safe with all the superheros around keeping all the bad guys away from this little guys party.

A Simple Wedding with just family, and your beautiful children that you share together, can still be so very special and wonderful.  I had the pleasure of capturing this special day between this very sweet couple, and I am so happy that I had the opportunity to share this special moment with them.

I had the pleasure of capturing this fun double birthday party for two very sweet and intelligent woman.  A sophisticated twist on an adult birthday party.  That's right, why not have an all white birthday party in the comfort of your own back yard.  Such a fun setting, plus I set up an open photo booth so we could capture even more fun moments for their birthday celebration, and so many wonderful memories captured to treasure for a life time!

Such a great family that I had the pleasure of capturing these sweet memories for.  Now capturing sweet pictures of little ones is always a challenge, but with three little boys not far apart in age is a real challenge, but I was up for this very challenge.  

I know that I always have to work fast, and I have to try and capture their attention so that we can capture these great memories.  Typical siblings not wanting to stand or sit next to each other, or even smile all at once, but I did it, and I am so very happy that I was able to create these memories for mom and dad!

 

Such a fun and non-traditional family session.  Mom didn't want traditional poses when posing around the shed / barn, and she didn't necessarily want all smiles in the pictures either.  This family was fun, and you could see the love between them all.  I would love to capture more of this families memories in the future.

Such a fun and wonderful young lady that I have had the opportunity of photographing.  Kali is about to graduate from College and close another chapter in her life and start another.  This young lady is smart, athletic, and is very sweet.  I wish Kali the very best in her future, and it was an honor photographing her for grad session.

Happy 1st Birthday to a very special little girl, Holland, who I have had the pleasure to get to know for the 1st year of her life.  Capturing these special moments in Holland's life has meant the world to her family, and I am so very honored to help capture these moments for them.

 

Happy 3rd Birthday to a sweet and adorable little boy named Ayden.  

I absolutely love photographing events, and learning, and experiencing different cultures while photographing an event.  I had the absolute pleasure of doing the pre-anniversary celebration portrait session of the couple celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary, which I posted on another blog post not too long ago.

During their 25th Anniversary Celebration their were many Indian songs sang, a lot of beautiful dance performances, A wonderful arrangement of Indian food, and so many guests dancing and celebrating this couple's quarter of a century anniversary.  The songs were sang in Indian dialect, and even though I did not know what they were saying, it was just so beautiful.  I absolutely loved all of the woman's saris, and how there is just so much respect and love within this culture and their people.  I was even told that some of the couple's guests came all the way from India for this celebration.  I can not tell you how grateful I was to be able to capture this wonderful event for this couple and I would love to photograph more in the future.

Well I am excited to announce that Tammy Johnson Photography is now providing either open or closed photo booth services.  Clients can either set up their own backdrop, or have us set up an open or closed photo booth set up.  We have lots of props to use, and you can either choose a 4x6 or a 2x6 print with 3 pictures on the strip.  You can also add words or not, and a few select boarders or not.  The Photo booth is automated by professional photo booth software, and pictures do print up right after pictures are taken.

Down Below are some examples from an open photo booth that I did for an event.  This client choose the 4x6 prints with no boarder or words, and they set up their own backdrop for their theme.  The client did provide some of their own props, but I brought props for client and their guests to use as well.

It's Springtime, and many families are still scheduling their spring family sessions, and dressed so beautifully in spring colors.  This family dressed  in the right colors for their session, and the colors paired nicely between all of them within this rustic outdoor setting.  I always enjoy photographing this family's session, and I love this location that they choose for their session as it's a nice contrast with the outfits that they are wearing.  It's not too late to schedule your family spring session, so schedule a session for the family, just the kids, or a mommy & me session.  Let me capture your next memory that you will be hanging on your walls.

 

It's Spring time and it's Wedding Season, and I couldn't be more happier than to be able to capture a couple's very special day of them saying "I Do!".  Beautiful weather, special family and friends helping the couple say their nuptials to each other.

On March 17th, Michelle and Wayne had their wedding and reception set up at the beautiful Eagle Glen Country Club and Golf Course in Corona CA.  They were were having a morning wedding, and a beautiful celebration lunch.  Everything was just absolutely beautiful, including the bride.  The ceremony was so very special, and you could feel the love and happiness in the air.  

During the Reception the newly wed couple was so very thankful to have every single person there helping them celebrate their nuptials.  They thanked every single person for coming, including all the venue staff, and their photographer :) .  Before everyone started to line up at the delicious buffet lunch, everyone gathered around and said Grace.  This in itself was extremely touching. As the afternoon went on, with toasts, cake cutting, and dances the celebration soon ended, and the bride and groom were exhausted, but where so very happy on having such a wonderful day that they will remember for a lifetime, and happily, they will be able to reminisce for many years to come on this special day, as I have beautifully captured it for them.

It's that time of year where High School Seniors Graduate and say goodbye to their high school careers, and Juniors celebrate on becoming High School Seniors.  No matter what time of the year you decide to get your session done for these events, it is always bitter sweet.

Leslie is about to graduate from high school, and enter the real world of life, and start college.  This young lady is sweet, extremely smart and athletic.  I had the pleasure of having a two hour session with this beautiful young lady, with several outfit changes, and even took some action cheer shots of her doing a double backwards handspring.  Leslie brought her best friend with her as well to watch her during her session, so on one of the outfits Leslie was wearing, it paired so well with her friend's outfit that I asked her friend to jump into a couple of shots with Leslie, and they were so excited about this as well.  I wish Leslie the very best in life, as she has worked so very hard to get where she is, and I know that she will continue to do so.  Thank you Leslie, for allowing me to capture this beautiful memory of you!

Love is in the air, and it is such a happy time of year for Weddings, but also to celebrate Wedding Anniversaries.  I just completed a session with Sam and Harinder this last Tuesday, and it was so nice that they could include their two sons within this session.  They are preparing for a fun and exciting Anniversary Party, and I can hardly wait to capture this wonderful memory for them.

It's spring time, and it's time to take Holland's 11 month pictures.  As most of her pictures have been taken somewhere either outside or inside her home.  The whole family got dressed up in their spring/ Easter attire.  If it's too hard to get out and go have family pictures taken somewhere in a studio or at an outdoor location, then why not think about having your pictures taken somewhere within your home or somewhere on the outside of your property.  Your family and children will be more relaxed, and your session will be done pretty fast.  In return, you will have memories you can cheerish for a lifetime.

It is so hard to get a family picture when all your children are younger.  So for this family we take several shots, and they choose the one they like the best, and they love them even if they are not perfect, because their children are expressing themselves of exactly who they are, and nothing that they are not.  it is so nice to see pictures and prints hung up in their home from their session.  For this family, this style of a family picture is more precious and memorable to them than a posed family picture.  Don't be afraid to take a lifestyle family portrait, as you might just fall in love with it!

So who said you have to dress up in a big dress for your save the date sweet 16 pictures?  Well I couldn't be more happier than to take these lovely pictures of Miss Leslie.  Leslie, is smart, sweet, beautiful, down to earth, and is very athletic from what I can see and have been told.  This session shows exactly who Miss Leslie is, and nothing that she is not.  Leslie's mom and friend were there, and they were having just as much fun as she was during her session.  Leslie's friend had her music going, and we kept shooting different poses, as she had fun with the camera.  I have to say, Leslie looked very relaxed in every picture, instead of stiff and posed and she was having fun.  Now who wants to schedule a fun session like this?

I have watched little Holland grow into such a beautiful little girl during her first year of life.  Holland's family is so very sweet, and for the first year of each of their children's lives, they get pictures taken each month.  Some pictures are posed, and most of the time, we just try to get a few shots of them taken together, so it is more natural.  I have documented each month of this precious little girl's life, and she has got such a sweet personality.  This is such a great way to capture the first year of each of your children's lives instead of the 3 month milestones, plus you can have pictures taken of your other children at the same time.  I know that the this family's photo albums will be filled with such wonderful memories they can look back on and treasure :)

Celebrating the upcoming birth of a new baby, is always fun and exciting, but for this family it was exceptionally exciting.  This was the largest baby shower that I have ever been to, and there was family and friends from all around.  This family choose to celebrate by having it be a coed shower, with adults and children of all ages.  You could feel the love and excitement that everyone had for little Allesandro.  I was truely blessed to be able to capture this shower for this wonderful family.

 

I first met MJ and his wonderful parents for their holiday session up in Oak Glen, CA.  MJ was so sweet, and he absolutely loves Mickey Mouse.  His parents would sing the hot dog diggity dog song, and MJ would just light up.  I was even singing the song, well at least trying to, while trying to focus on capturing the right shot of this little angel.  

Well naturally MJ's parents through their little man, his 1st Mickey Mouse club house birthday party, with trains, a diggity hot dog stand, a balloon artist, a bounce house, and even a cute candy bar and Mickey Mouse train station photo booth.  This little angel just makes your heart melt and always puts a smile on my face :)  Happy 1st Birthday MJ!

So many beautiful brides, and love is definitely in the air.  Such a wonderful bride to be, Miss Tiffanie, is fun, sweet, and such a loving person.  I had such a wonderful time capturing this wonderful memory for her.

Love is in the Air, and how could it not be with this absolutely beautiful couple.  On Valentines, this beautiful couple finally tied the knott.  With just their two little boys, both of their parents, and a cousin, this couple got married at the Riverside County Clerks office in Riverside, Ca.  On Valentines Day there were lines of brides waiting to get married, and for a ceremony that was so simple and fast, turned out to be absolutely beautiful.  I took this newly married couple to a very nice park in Riverside to take more pictures after the ceremony.  The couple didn't want anything fancy, but beautiful images to capture this wonderful memory, their wedding day.

This young lady has accomplished so much, and she was such a pleasure spending the afternoon with photographing her Graduation session.  She is about to walk down and pick up her diploma for a Masters in Finance.  She is young, smart, sweet, and is about to enter a wonderful career.  I wish her the very best, and I can tell she will accomplish a lot within her career.  

I started her session off in my studio, and then we went down to do the rest of her session within the downtown area of Riverside near the Mission Inn.  April, got her hair and make-up done, and I photographed her in her cap and gown, and then in two different tops and shoes.  So simple, but we ended up with some wonderful shots.

Graduation pictures do not just have to be for high school kids graduating, they can also be for when you graduate within any level of schooling, so that you have a wonderful memory to look back on, your accomplishments within life.

I love when I get to shoot a maternity session for first time parents.  This couple was so cute and sweet together, and you could tell how in love they were with each other, and the love they shared for their unborn baby boy.  

An Elegant Shabby Chic Bridal Shower takes place among one of our military bases.  Woman in large floppy sun hats, and dressed nicely to start off with brunch and mimosas with the bride to be and her bridesmaids.  There was laughing, crying, and good conversation.  Games were played and gifts were opened, as they were all for the bride's wedding night.  Such a wonderful and beautiful group of people that I had the opportunity of getting to photography this special memory for.

I got the pleasure of photographing this adorable little girls Frozen 3rd birthday Party just before Christmas.  The joy of little ones running around, the beautiful display of treats, and the delight and excitement when Elsa from Frozen walked through the doors.  Elsa read her story to the little ones, painted their faces with icons from Frozen, and even helped sing Happy Birthday to the birthday girl.  Happy Birthday Sweet Marissa, this is a beautiful memory I was so very happy to be able to capture for you.
